Aesthetics
  • Aesthetics
  • Dermatology
  • Musculoskeletal (MSK) Medicine
  • Plastic Surgery
  • Rheumatology
  • Sports Medicine
  • Vascular Access
The L24 is the specialist pick for face-first aesthetic clinics: 18/24 MHz superficial imaging, 10-25 mm depth, Doppler support for facial vessel mapping, and local documentation for filler-plane review and follow-up.
With 18/24MHz, the L24 delivers unmatched resolution for skin lesions, layers, or subcutaneous abnormalities—perfect for guiding biopsies or injections. Doppler adds vascular detail for suspicious areas, and its 2-hour battery keeps it humming through clinic hours. Lightweight and wireless, it’s a derm’s high-res dream.
The L24’s high frequency excels at superficial MSK—tendons, ligaments, and small joints like wrists or fingers. Puncture assist guides injections with precision, though its 25mm depth limits it to shallow structures. At 145g, it’s portable enough for clinic or sideline use—sharp imaging in a tiny package.
Perfect for superficial soft tissue imaging—seromas, implants, or fat grafts—the L24’s frequency and depth are spot-on. Puncture assist guides aspirations or injections, and Doppler avoids vascular surprises. At 145g, it’s a plastic surgeon’s lightweight precision tool.
The L24’s high frequency nails small joint imaging—synovitis or erosions in hands or feet—with puncture assist for injections. Limited to 25mm depth, it’s best for superficial rheumatic issues. Wireless and portable, it’s a rheum clinic favorite.
For superficial tendon or ligament injuries—think ankle sprains or wrist strains—the L24’s high-res imaging is clutch. Puncture guides help with injections, and its 145g wireless design fits sports med’s mobile needs—quick and clear for on-the-go care.
For delicate vein access, the L24’s high-res imaging (18/24MHz, up to 25mm) shines—think pediatric or superficial lines. Puncture guides and Doppler ensure accuracy and flow confirmation. Wireless and 145g, it’s a nimble choice for tricky cases.

Every other way medicine looks inside the body needs a room — a tube, a gantry, a superconducting magnet. Ultrasound needs a probe and a screen. For twenty years, ultrasound has been how spaceflight looks inside the human body — and as humanity returns to the Moon, the instrument light enough to go is a handheld probe.

Suresult handheld probes have been selected by NASA and are undergoing testing in preparation for the Artemis lunar program. Documentation available for review on request.

Which Suresult linear probe do you need?

These are the wireless linear probes a buyer looking at the L24 normally cross-shops, from the 10/14 MHz general band up to the 18/24 MHz superficial band. Type, frequency and depth below are each model's own published attributes; the difference that actually decides the purchase sits in the last column.

ProbeTypeFrequencyDepthPriceChoose it for
Suresult L24L24This pageLinear18/24 MHz10/15/20/25mm$3,700The entry into the 18/24 MHz band — top-end frequency for dermis, filler planes, tendons and superficial nerves, with 192 elements and 64 channels, for work that never needs to see past 25 mm.
Suresult L24ProL24ProLinear18/24 MHz10/15/20/25mm$4,500Same band and same depth steps as the L24 with 256 elements instead of 192 — the higher price buys line density across the image, not extra reach.
Suresult L20L20Linear16/20 MHz10/20/30/40mm$3,000Costs less than the L24 and reaches 40 mm; the trade is the 24 MHz top end, so fine dermal layering gives way to deeper superficial MSK and injection work.
Suresult L20ProL20ProLinear16/20 MHz10/20/30/40mm$4,000The 40 mm window with 256 elements — for clinics that want both the extra depth over the L24 and the denser aperture, and can accept 20 MHz as the ceiling.
Suresult L14L14Linear10/14 MHz20-80mm$2,300The least expensive way to reach 80 mm — general MSK, vascular access and soft-tissue work that the L24's 25 mm ceiling shuts out, at the cost of high-frequency detail.
Suresult L14ProL14ProLinear10/14 MHzLinear: 20/40/60/80mm$3,700Mid-band MSK to 80 mm with 256 elements and 64 channels — the pick when shoulders, hips and deeper joints are on the list rather than skin and small joints.

L24 questions, answered

How deep does the L24 scan, and at what frequency?

It is a linear probe running at 18/24 MHz with selectable depths of 10, 15, 20 and 25 mm, over a 25 mm linear scan line. The array is 192 elements on 64 channels. Everything it images sits inside that 25 mm window — the frequency is chosen for resolution in superficial tissue, not for reach.

What can the L24 not do?

It cannot image anything below 25 mm, so liver, kidney, bladder, cardiac and obstetric exams are out of scope regardless of gain or dynamic range settings. For those, Suresult's convex, phased and multi-format probes are the right format — the D3Pro and D3Ultra families cover abdomen, heart and OB depths. For linear work between 25 and 80 mm, the L14 and L14Pro sit in the mid-frequency band.

Which imaging modes, measurements and needle tools are included?

B-Mode, M-Mode, Color Doppler, Power Doppler and Pulsed Wave Doppler are all on the probe, with measurements available in B, B+M and B+PW. The puncture set includes flip, grid, in-plane and out-of-plane guides and needle enhance. Image controls cover depth, dynamic range, enhancement, focus, frequency, gain, harmonic imaging, noise reduction and 8-segment TGC, with separate Color and PW controls for steer, gain, PRF, wall filter, volume and angle.

What else is needed to run it besides the probe?

The probe is the scanner — there is no console or cart to buy with it. It connects over its own Wi-Fi (802.11n, 2.4G/5G dual-band, 450 Mbps) to an iOS, Android or Windows device running the Suresult app, and images are held in local storage on the probe. Studies export as JPEG, PNG, MP4 or DICOM, with cine loops of 100, 200, 500 or 1000 frames.

How long does it run between charges, and how is it charged?

It carries a built-in 2200 mAh lithium battery rated for 2 hours of continuous scanning. Charging is by USB or wireless pad. The body is 156 x 60 x 18 mm and 145 g, so it is held in one hand for the whole session.

Is 24 MHz genuinely useful for filler and toxin work, or is 20 MHz enough?

At 24 MHz the dermis, the subcutaneous plane and previously placed filler separate as distinct layers inside the first 25 mm, which is the range facial injection work lives in. Color and Power Doppler map superficial vessels before the needle goes in and confirm the plane afterwards. If treatment also covers targets at 30-40 mm, the L20 or L20Pro trade that top-end detail for the deeper window.

What warranty and documentation come with it?

Warranty is 2 years, the standard across the Suresult store. FDA, ISO, MDR/CE, TGA and ANVISA records are available for review on request. Delivery timing and shipping method are confirmed at checkout for the destination country.

The 30-day decision

Put the L24 to work on skin for 30 days

The L24 dispatches within 24 hours and arrives with customs and duties already covered. The 30-day worry-free trial starts when it does, so the 18/24 MHz question — whether the top-end band earns its place in your injection and dermatology work — gets answered on your own patients rather than from a spec sheet. Two years of warranty are included and can be extended to 3 years for $195 or 5 years for $597. If you are still weighing it against the L24Pro or the 40 mm window of the L20 family, the table above is the honest version of that comparison. Ask before ordering rather than after.
