    Mobile Devices (iOS/Android):

    • Click the links above. Alternatively, search for "WirelessUSG" on the App Store (for iPad and iPhone) or Google Play (for Android tablets and phones) to download and install the app.

    Windows Software Installation:

    Download & Unzip the File

    • Download the installation file for Windows and unzip it.

    Enable the Administrator Account

    • Log in as an administrator to save images and videos (requires Windows 7/10/11 Professional or Enterprise).
    • Enable it by pressing Windows + R, typing compmgmt.msc, and navigating to System Tools > Local Users and Groups.
    • Double-click the “Administrator” account, check “Password never expires,” uncheck “Account is disabled,” then click Apply and OK.
    • Switch to the administrator account via the Start menu.

    Install the Software

    • Run the installer (WirelessUSG158.exe) from the unzipped package and follow the prompts.

    Connect to the Probe

    • After installation, connect your computer to the probe’s Wi-Fi network using the lowercase password printed on the probe (starts with “W”).

    Save and Access Data

    • Click “Save Patient Data” in the software to store videos and images.
    • Access saved files at: Computer > Local Disk (C:) > Program Files > WirelessUSG > WirelessUSG.

    Step 2: Operate the Probe

    Use the buttons on the probe as follows (refer to the image for button locations):

    1. Power On/Off & Live/Freeze Button
      • Press to turn on the probe; press and hold to turn off.
      • Short press (1 second) to freeze the image; press again to unfreeze.
      • For double-head probes, press and hold for 3 seconds to switch heads.
    2. Battery Capacity Indicator: Shows the remaining battery level.
    3. Wireless Connection Indicator: Displays the connection status.
    4. Depth Adjustment Button: Press once to zoom in on the image; press three times to return to normal size.
    5. Gain Decrease Button: Press to lower the image brightness/contrast.
    6. Gain Increase Button: Press to raise the image brightness/contrast.

    Step 3: Set Up the Wireless Connection

    For the first connection between the probe and your smart device (phone, tablet, or PC), you’ll need to enter a Wi-Fi password. Follow these steps:

    • Turn on Wi-Fi on your device.
    • Look for the SN on the back of the probe (e.g., “WXPCFBR064”). The last number matches the probe’s serial number (SN).
    • Connect to this SSID and enter the probe’s SN in lowercase as the Wi-Fi password.

      7. Noise Reduction: Removes low-level echo noise.
      8. Image Modes: Includes B mode, blood flow mode, energy Doppler mode, and pulsed Doppler mode.
      9. Patient Information Management: Enter patient details.
      10. Freeze / Run: Freezes or unfreezes the image.
      11. Compound: Activates the compound imaging feature.
      12. Measurement: Measures distance, area, or obstetric parameters.
      13. Comment: Adds a comment to the image.
      14. Puncture: Draws a puncture line for guidance.
      15. Clear Measurements and Comments: Removes measurements and comments from the image.
      16. Save Image: Saves a single image.
      17. Save Image Video: Saves a video of the images.
      18. Settings: Selects Wi-Fi channel to avoid congestion.
      19. Image Depth Adjustment: Toggles up or down to adjust the image area on the screen.
      20. TGC Function Menu: Click on the right (top right on phones) to open color Doppler imaging modes (Color, PDI).
      21. DICOM Procedures: Set up DICOM workflows (accessed via Preset > DICOM Setting).
      22. Body Presets: Pre-set parameters tailored for specific body parts, ready for immediate use.

      Wi-Fi Connection Status

      Displays the name of the successfully connected Wi-Fi network; if no name is shown, the connection has not been established.

      Color Doppler Imaging Mode (Color, PDI)

      These features appear in Color or PDI mode:

      • Steer: Adjusts the direction of the color sampling frame.
      • Gain +: Increases the color blood flow gain.
      • Gain -: Reduces the color blood flow gain.
      • PRF: Adjusts the pulse repetition frequency (PRF), controlling the number of pulses per second. (Applicable to D3H, D3Pro, C5SH, L10H-Guide, L10SH, L20, L24 and newer generation products.)
      • WF (Wall Filter): Adjusts the wall filter to remove low-frequency, high-density noise. Higher settings filter slow-moving tissue; lower settings show more movement. (Applicable to D3H, D3Pro, C5SH, L10H-Guide, L10SH, L20, L24 and newer generation products.)
      • Move, Zoom: Changes the position and size of the color sampling frame by clicking and dragging with your finger.

      Color Doppler Imaging Mode (PW)

      These features are available in PW (Pulsed Wave) mode:

      1. Gain +: Increases the pulse gain.
      2. Gain -: Reduces the pulse gain.
      3. Steer: Adjusts the direction of the color sampling frame.
      4. Volume: Zooms or narrows the equal line to measure the volume of the test area.
      5. Angle: Changes the angle of the spectrum sampling line during real-time scanning.

      Measurement Features

      When taking measurements, follow these steps:

      • Click a measuring point to turn it green, indicating it can be moved.
      • Drag it manually on the screen or use the arrow buttons in the lower right corner to fine-tune its position.
      • Press the middle square button to confirm the position.
      • To delete all measurements, press the delete button after finishing.
      • To delete a specific measurement, click the "X" next to its result in the results list.

      Puncture Function

      The puncture feature includes these options:

      • In-Plane Puncturing: Adjust the angle using the arrow button in the lower right corner of the image.
      • Out-of-Plane Puncturing: Adjust the depth and size of the blood vessel. The app automatically displays the vessel’s depth and radius in the lower right corner.
      • Needle Enhance: Improves visibility of the needle during puncturing.
      • Grid: Displays a grid on the screen for guidance.
      • Left/Right Flip: Flips the image horizontally.

      Preset Settings

      Access additional options by pressing "Preset":

      • Wireless Channel Setting: In a crowded Wi-Fi environment, select a different channel. Choose from the signal channel list, wait 2 seconds, then restart the probe and reconnect to your device.
      • Cine Loop: Set video length when saving:
        • No. 100: 10-second video
        • No. 200: 20-second video
        • No. 500: 50-second video
        • No. 1000: 100-second video
      • Show Information: Toggle the display of patient information, time, depth, denoise, and gain (GN) in the upper left corner.
      • Left/Right Flip: Flip the image horizontally.
      • Measure Magnify Switch: Turn measurement magnification on or off.
      • Help: View a simple user manual and App Version Update Record.
      • DICOM Setting: Configure DICOM functions.

      File Storage Locations

      • Android: Files are saved in File Management > Internal Storage Device > WirelessUSG.
      • Apple: Connect via USB to a computer, open iTunes, go to File Sharing > Wireless Ultrasound > Wireless Ultrasound Documentation to download files.
      • Windows: Files are saved at Computer > Local Disk (C:) > Program Files > WirelessUSG > WirelessUSG.

      Step 5: Maintenance and Care

        Follow these guidelines to maintain and store the probe properly.

        Probe Charging

        • Charge the probe when the battery is low.
        • Remove the rubber plug at the end of the probe, then connect it to a USB charger using a USB cable.
        • During charging, the battery capacity indicator light will flash, and the grid will show the charge level.
        • When all four grid lights are on and not flashing, the battery is fully charged.
        • After charging, disconnect the USB cable and reinsert the rubber plug to protect against liquid damage.
        • Alternatively, use a wireless charger: Place the probe on the wireless charging board, aligning the wireless charging mark (diffusion waveform) under the probe with the charging mark on the board.
        • Stop charging once the probe is fully charged to preserve battery life.

        Cleaning and Disinfection

        Cautions

        • Do not immerse the probe in conductive liquids, as this may corrode the probe and sheath.
        • Ensure the probe does not go past the immersion line mark when in water, and check for cracks in the shell to prevent liquid damage to internal components.
        • Confirm the probe is powered off before cleaning.

        Steps

        1. Use a soft cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol (or a suitable hospital cleaning agent) to clean the probe after each use.
        2. Disconnect the probe from the mobile device.
        3. Wipe the probe for 1 minute or until visibly clean.
        4. Change wipes as needed and repeat until the probe is clean.
        5. Inspect the probe in a well-lit area to ensure all surfaces are clean. If not, repeat the cleaning steps.

        Disinfection

        Cautions

        • Use liquid chemical disinfectants that comply with local regulations.
        • Do not thermally disinfect the probe. Temperatures above 66°C (150°F) will damage it.
        • When disinfecting, ensure the disinfectant does not go past the probe’s connection line.

        Steps

        1. After the recommended disinfection time, remove the probe from the disinfectant.
        2. Rinse the probe with running water, then wipe and dry it with a soft, lint-free cloth.
        3. Inspect the probe for any signs of damage or wear after cleaning and disinfection.

        Waterproof Protection

        • In outdoor or harsh environments, protect the probe and smart device from water exposure.

        Storage

        • When not in use, store the probe in a suitable case to avoid damage from impacts.
        • Keep the probe away from high temperatures (recommended storage temperature: 0°C to 40°C).
