Before making my purchase, I asked the supplier about the EU MDR documentation and Declaration of Conformity, and they responded very quickly. Shipping was also fast: the device arrived at my clinic within five days, and I did not need to handle customs clearance or import duties myself.

2) The second case involved a patient with end-stage kidney disease who presented with acute dyspnea, orthopnea, and hypoxemia. Acute pulmonary edema was suspected clinically and subsequently confirmed by the presence of diffuse B-lines across all lung zones . Urgent hemodialysis relieved the symptoms
Patient with right sided flank pain and CVA tenderness with hx of kidney stones. U/S was used in right flank showing moderate hydronephrosis allowing prompt referral to urology for definitive management of suspected obstructive kidney stone which was later confirmed. Very helpful to have the portable ultrasound to diagnose cause of pain, recognize hydro, and allow for prompt appropriate referral.

Each format publishes its own figures. Convex runs 3.2/5.0 MHz across a 50° sector, with depth steps of 90, 160, 220 and 305 mm. Phased runs 3.2/5.0 MHz, also at 50°, with the same 90/160/220/305 mm steps. Linear runs 7.5/10 MHz over a 25 mm footprint, with steps of 20, 40, 60 and 100 mm. 305 mm is the deepest the D3 goes.
It is one dual-probe body that scans in three published formats: convex, linear and phased. The convex and phased formats share the same 3.2/5.0 MHz frequency pair and the same 90/160/220/305 mm depth ladder, and both scan a 50° sector; the linear side is the separate face, at 7.5/10 MHz across a 25 mm footprint and 20 to 100 mm. The whole thing weighs 150 g.
The convex format is the general abdominal and obstetric view — liver, kidneys, bladder, gallbladder, free fluid — with 305 mm available when the patient needs it. The phased format's 50° sector is the shape that fits between ribs, which is what cardiac and lung-base views require. The linear format at 7.5/10 MHz sits on the surface for vessels, soft tissue, lung fields and vascular access. The published imaging modes are B-Mode, Color Doppler, M-Mode, Power Doppler and Pulsed Wave Doppler.
