Ultrasound in 41 healthy volunteers measured the supratrochlear artery at a mean depth of 3.34 mm and the supraorbital artery at 3.54 mm. The authors rejected the idea that injecting beside a vertical glabellar line is safe because the artery runs deep to the crease.
