How the exam comes together, probe to report

Open with the convex head and a full bladder.
The transabdominal pass sets the field: uterine position, any large mass, and free fluid. On the D2T this is the 3.2/5.0 MHz convex head at 90 mm.

Switch to the endocavity head for the endometrium.
The 6/8 MHz array with a 149-degree sector resolves the endometrial stripe and the ovaries that the convex head only suggests. Depth drops to 60 mm for most gynecology work.
