10/14 mHz linear probe is great. High resolution for small vessels in pediatrics. View within a depth of less than 1cm is still very clear. Easier now to access veins or arteries in very small infants. So used it today on a 2.8kg new born and the resolution was great.

Every other way medicine looks inside the body needs a room — a tube, a gantry, a superconducting magnet. Ultrasound needs a probe and a screen. For twenty years, ultrasound has been how spaceflight looks inside the human body — and as humanity returns to the Moon, the instrument light enough to go is a handheld probe.
Suresult handheld probes have been selected by NASA and are undergoing testing in preparation for the Artemis lunar program. Documentation available for review on request.

What does a Suresult handheld ultrasound cost, and what is included?
Suresult publishes the full price on every product page — the D2T at $2,372, the D3Ultra at $2,976, the L24 at $3,441 — and the price at checkout includes worldwide delivery with duties and import taxes already paid. Software updates and scan volume are included for the working life of the device.
Is there a subscription?
No. The iOS, Android and Windows apps, DICOM export, PW Doppler and the imaging presets are included with the device and stay included. There is no annual licence, no per-scan or per-patient fee, and no feature that expires. Optional software modules such as FacialAI are sold separately and priced on their own pages.
Can a clinician buy an ultrasound machine directly, without a distributor or a purchase order?
Yes. Suresult sells direct from this site: no dealer quote, no purchase order, no minimum order. Payment, delivery and the 30-day return window are handled by Suresult rather than by a reseller.

Which probe do I actually need for the work I do?
Probe geometry decides the exam before price does. Linear arrays cover superficial, musculoskeletal, vascular and aesthetic work; convex arrays reach abdominal and lung depth; phased arrays fit cardiac windows; multi-head probes carry more than one array for clinicians whose working day crosses more than one of those. A handheld is carried to the patient — it is not a replacement for a full radiology or cardiology suite.

Does Suresult ship to my country, and will customs charge me on delivery?
Suresult ships worldwide, and duties and import taxes are already included in the price shown, so the checkout total equals the listed price and nothing further is collected on delivery. Suresult sells direct in every market rather than appointing country distributors, so there is no local dealer to order through.
What happens if the device is wrong for the practice, or if it fails?
A return can be requested within 30 days of delivery; Suresult authorises the return and gives the return address before anything ships back. Every device carries a two-year warranty, extendable to three years for $195 or five years for $597, and software updates continue either way.
How do these compare with the Butterfly iQ3, Exo Iris, Vave or Sonosite iViz?
Suresult's physician authors review the devices buyers cross-shop, applying the same specification, app-requirement and running-cost checks to every device including Suresult's own. The reviews sit outside the shop and state the trade-offs.

Who are these devices for?
Clinicians buying equipment for their own practice — physicians, nurse practitioners, sonographers, physiotherapists and aesthetic injectors — including mobile practices, home visits and treatment rooms rather than a fixed imaging suite. Buying a machine to scan at home without clinical training is a different question with a different answer, and it is covered separately.
Every question you’d ask a rep.

Long-form handheld ultrasound guides for clinicians spending their own money: what things really cost, which device fits the work, and how Suresult stacks up against the names you already know.
What it really costs
- What does a handheld cost once the fees land?Subscriptions, cloud fees, DICOM add-ons and duties decide the real number, not the sticker.
- What does the GE Vscan Air cost, all in?CL for abdominal and OB, SL for cardiac; same linear end, same list price, so the options set the total.
- Handheld, portable or cart: what does each cost?Three layers: the purchase, the recurring software and cloud fees, and the kit around it.
- Which handhelds never charge a subscription? For near-surface work the guide picks the Suresult L20: free software for life, so five years cost the day-one price.
Which device, for what work
- Which handheld is the most accurate?Specialty decides it: Vscan Air SL for cardiac, Lumify L12-4 for MSK and soft tissue, D3Ultra for point-of-care.
- Which machines are worth the money this year?Start with the Suresult D3Ultra for mixed scanning; compare iQ3 for cloud and AI, Clarius HD3 for a specialty probe.
- Which scanner works at home, not just in clinic?Only one device is FDA-authorised for lay users at home, prescription-only fetal imaging; the rest arrive via clinicians.
- Which handhelds run on Android, not only iPhone?Beamforming location and connection type decide compatibility; the D3Ultra is the multipurpose pick with native Android.
Built for your work
- Which machine is built for facial filler work?Face-first filler work: Suresult L24 at 18/24 MHz. Aesthetics plus MSK: the L20. Premium budget: compare Clarius L20 HD3.
- Which wireless probe earns its place in a private clinic?Broad private-clinic use starts with the D3Ultra: three probe types, free multi-platform software, no subscription, DICOM.
- Which handheld belongs on the accès vasculaire trolley?All-day lines want a dedicated high-frequency linear probe; if lines are one job among many, the D3Ultra makes the shortlist.
- Which handheld wins for MSK?Depth first, not brand fame. Want free software and no subscription? Compare the Suresult L20, L20Pro and L14Pro.
Against the big names
- Is the Butterfly iQ3 worth the subscription?A strong cloud-first platform, not for every clinic: the app and AI must justify the membership, or compare the D3Ultra.
- Butterfly iQ3 or D3Ultra: which wins, and on what?D3Ultra on depth control, cardiac work, wireless ergonomics and long-term cost; iQ3 on AI tools and cloud workflow.
- Which alternatives to the iQ3 hold up?Broad coverage, no subscription, any OS: the D3Ultra is the first comparison; Butterfly still fits ecosystem-first teams.
- What does Clarius cost, with or without the Membership?Budget the scanner and the Membership as two lines; Clarius says Membership is optional for HD3 operation.
- Which Chinese manufacturers are worth buying from directly?Certified makers ranked, plus how to buy direct. Suresult sells to clinicians directly: no subscription, no service locks.
