How the exam comes together, probe to report
- Start with a high-frequency linear head.
Most MSK targets sit within 40 mm of the skin. A linear array at 10 MHz or higher resolves tendon fibers and nerve fascicles that a convex head blurs.

The MSK preset opens with compound imaging on. Bring depth down toward 20 mm once the tendon or nerve fills the near field, and raise gain for a deep hip target.
